Ellen is a Partner with over 20 years of executive search experience.  Her search experience includes chief executive officers, financial officers and other senior-level executives within technology, manufacturing, distribution, and financial services.  At Z3Talent, Ellen leads the firm’s Fintech, Chief Financial Officer and Nonprofit practices.

Early in her career, she worked as a management consultant for a Big 4 firm.  She spent a decade in corporate finance beginning in corporate finance with Citicorp and then as the CFO for a Private Equity backed technology company. Ellen pivoted to executive search joining a global Top 5 search firm. Over the past 20 years, she has found her career industry experience has helped her to better serve her clients. Ellen has executed senior leadership assignments for organizations ranging from family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies.  She has advised clients in private equity, the public sector and has a passion for identifying executives for nonprofits.

Ellen is active in the community serving as the president of the Wharton Club of Colorado, as an active board member and co-chair of the search committee for Raise the Future, and as a current board member with Colorado UpLift. She was a member of the “most resilient” Leadership Denver class of 2021.

Ellen has an MBA from The Wharton School and a B.A. from Columbia University where she played basketball.
