Mother’s Day is more than a calendar date. It’s a reminder of the quiet leadership that mothers show every single day — the kind that rarely makes headlines but shapes lives in the most profound ways. This year, I’m thinking about the incredible women who not only keep families together but also pursue their own careers, passions, and ambitions. One of those women I want to take a moment to honor is my wife, Dr. Sheryl Ziegler.

Five years ago this week, the world came to a sudden halt. March 16, 2020—the day Denver issued its stay-at-home order, marking the beginning of a global shutdown that reshaped business, leadership, and the way companies operate.

As we wrap up the first quarter of 2025, we wanted to share a quick update on what we have been working on at Z3. It has been a busy start to the year.

Taking a full week away from technology and daily distractions feels nearly impossible. But that’s exactly what I did at the Hoffman Institute during the first week of January, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
